Those of us who care about animals and animal welfare will be thrilled to hear that the Humane Society Legislative Fund, which lobbies for animal welfare legislation -- and goodness knows that animals can always use the help -- has broken with a tradition of not taking a stand in Presidential races. This year the HSLF is endorsing the Barack Obama-Joe Biden ticket
